Render Judgment will be scratched from Saturday’s Grade 3 Southwest at Oaklawn because of a foot issue, according to the track’s media team.
The Blame colt broke his maiden in his second start for trainer Kenny McPeek then finished fifth in the Kentucky Jockey Club (G2) and third in the Gun Runner, earning four qualifying points for Kentucky Derby 2025. He was at 15-1 on the Southwest morning line.
Owned by Baccari Racing Stable, Dream Walkin Farms, MJM Racing and Rocket Ship Racing, Render Judgment was bought as a yearling for $310,000.
McPeek won the 2024 Southwest with Mystik Dan, who went on to win the Kentucky Derby and is entered in Saturday’s Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1) at Gulfstream Park.

The $3 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1) attracted an intriguing field of 12 for Saturday’s renewal at Gulfstream Park. Just how intriguing?
It will be quite the achievement if Facteur Cheval can land the Al Maktoum Challenge (G1) Jan. 24 at Meydan. Having won the Dubai Turf (G1T) last March,
