High School Football 2024: South Jersey schedules and scores for the season
Buena 30, Wildwood 0: Ben Cohen scored on a pair of touchdown runs as Buena pitched a shutout. Cohen’s first run looked to be stalled after a short gain, but Cohen kept his feet going, eventually breaking free from the pile for a 55-yard TD. Cohen added a third-quarter TD run from 14 yards.
Anthony Muzzarelli scored on a three-yard plunge in the second quarter. Lucas Gellura swept around end for a one-yard fourth-quarter touchdown. Buena won for the second time in eight games.
Wildwood dipped to 1-6 for the season with a Halloween game on tap against Mastery of Camden.
Paulsboro 30, Clayton 7: Malakhai McKenzie threw a touchdown pass and ran for another as the Red Raiders cruised to their sixth win in eight games. McKenzie (17-for-22, 154 yards) found Eric Scott for a nine-yard TD pass to put Paulsboro up 15 at the break. Later he added a one-yard run, the only points of the second half.
Jeremiah Carr opened the scoring with a six-yard run. Ky’Aire Harvey (17 carries, 150 yards) added a 24-yard TD scamper to make it 14-0 in the first quarter.
Demetris Williams, who entered the game with 1,302 yards on 104 carries, added a 90-yard touchdown run for the Clippers. Williams (10-for-108 rushing) has 16 rushing TDs for the 4-2-1 Clippers.
Seneca 19, Willingboro 18: Senior Jake Hasson threw the first three touchdown passes of his career as the Golden Eagles burnished their playoff resume with an impressive road win. Seneca is 5-3 at the cutoff.

Hasson threw TD passes of 15, 20 and 38 yards to answer each of the Chimeras’ touchdowns on the night. Jamar Warthen and the game’s only point after by Tyler Hood gave Seneca its first lead with a third-quarter 20-yard TD reception. Nate Sauerwald was on the end of the 38-yard flea-flicker touchdown to go ahead for good.
Brody Phillips tied the game at 6-6 with a 15-yard, first-quarter catch.
Willingboro (6-3) caused a turnover on the first play from scrimmage then took a 6-0 lead on a 49-yard Terrance Knighton touchdown pass from Sean Taylor 21 seconds into the game.
The second half started with another big play, as Mekhi Cottle reeled of a 50-yard run, that eventually led to a 10-yard Cottle touchdown. Knighton and Taylor connected again for a 67-yard touchdown with a minute gone in the fourth quarter.
