How social media reacted to North Carolina’s much-needed win over Syracuse.
Saturday was a positive step forward for the North Carolina Tar Heels, getting a much-needed win by beating Syracuse 88-82 in New York. UNC needed a win to stay on the bubble and potentially save any hopes of getting to the NCAA Tournament.
Although UNC led from start to finish, they held off a late Syracuse run to close out the game. It was refreshing to see them close out a game and get a win, rather than going into a scoring drought and struggling. This game doesn’t get them into the field by any means, but it kept them alive and that’s all that matters.
