WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – As shoppers gear up to buy gifts for holidays, small businesses are hoping to get a piece of the pie.
GROW Plant Bar and 2 Beatz Boutique collaborated to host their first ‘Market on Market’ event in downtown Wichita.
The owners opened up their brick-and-mortar stores to provide a space for eight local vendors to set up and be spotlighted as well.
The event aims to encourage people to think and shop local first as we head into the holidays.
“Words can’t even describe how important and much of an impact your dollars staying in your local businesses are going to impact now as well as we move into 2025,” said Heather Giesen, owner of GROW Plant Bar.
The owners of GROW and 2 Beatz said they plan to host other events and specials this holiday season.
