When running simulations of a season on NBA 2k25, it is important to keep in mind that no simulation can (at least yet) create a scenario as complex as reality is in any given season. But it is also hard to avoid getting excited when considering the fact that official sims of the 2024-25 NBA season do not just have the Oklahoma City Thunder winning the Western Conference again — they have the Thunder winning it all.
Could such an outcome realistically happen for OKC? Or are we getting ahead of ourselves with a boost from technology? This is exactly the sort of scenario being explored by the host of the “Locked on Thunder” podcast, Rylan Stiles, in a recent episode of his show.
