Devonta Smith has been up and down in certain spots this year for the Philadelphia Eagles — he’s scored four times, but hasn’t gotten over 100 yards yet in a game in 2024.
That said, he’s seen six or more targets four times, and despite coming off limited practice late before the Thursday night matchup against the Washington Commanders, he’s playing in a game that could be a shootout, so the stats could be there.
Plus, it’s his birthday. Do with that info what you will.
So: should you start him? We say: yes. He’s a WR3 with upside for more against the Commanders and I’ll bet on him finding the end zone.
