Shedeur Sanders is not feeling Field Yates’ latest mock draft.

The star Colorado quarterback, who is expected to be one of the top picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, ignited controversy on social media this week after Yates, the ESPN NFL analyst, projected him to fall to No. 6 overall.

Yates’ projection, which may underestimate Sanders’ talent in the eyes of some, prompted a swift and pointed response from the young signal-caller.

“That’s cap bruh — I ain’t going sixth,” Sanders insisted in a video captured by his brother Deion Sanders Jr. this week.

“That’s why I don’t be having TVs in my house,” he added.

With his response, Sanders made it clear that he disagrees with being a sixth overall pick — the spot the Raiders currently hold.

Sanders’ retort was a direct challenge to Yates’ assessment, which included having Miami quarterback Cam Ward going No. 3 overall to the fellow quarterback-needy New York Giants.

While Sanders has shown flashes of brilliance, the QB going in the top two hasn’t been a universal line of thinking leading up to April’s draft.

In January, Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network reported that Sanders wasn’t seen as a first-rounder by some scouts.

Sanders, who finished eighth in Heisman voting, completed an FBS-best 74 percent of his passes for 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdowns for Colorado in 2024.
