Shanghai Masters: Shapovalov sets up Shelton match-up in second round
Canadian qualifier Denis Shapovalov defeated Italian Lorenzo Sonego 7-6 (5), 7-6 (8) to reach the second round of the Shanghai Masters at the Qi Zhong Tennis Center on Wednesday.
Shapovalov, ranked No 101, will play No 14 seed Ben Shelton next.
