Good evening and welcome to the Football Italia Liveblog for coverage of tonight’s Serie A match between Fiorentina and Lecce.

This is the first game in the 27th round of Serie A fixtures coming up this weekend, which features one of the biggest games of the season between title challengers Napoli and Inter.

Friday night brings an opportunity for Fiorentina to get their Champions League hopes back on track. They currently sit in seventh place, seven points behind Juventus in fourth.

There will be no Moise Kean for the hosts this evening, as he recovers from a nasty head injury from the 1-0 loss against Hellas Verona on Sunday.

Lecce are currently four points clear of the relegation zone, which means there is no risk of them dropping into the bottom three this weekend, but a victory against Fiorentina would put them temporarily level on points with Cesc Fabregas’s impressive Como side.
