The video is filmed by Adira’s 7-year-old sister, Olympia, and it features the 1-year-old helping her mom collect tennis balls on the court. But instead of returning one to the basket (per Williams’s request), she runs to the side and throws it at the fence.
“Here, Adira. Put it here,” Williams says in the clip. “She was doing it. Now that we turned the camera [on], she doesn’t want to do it.” With a little education on keeping the ball in play, Adira will be tossing it over the net in no time.
Williams wrote a caption that teased Adira’s future as a tennis superstar. “When’s too early? @adiraohanian,” she wrote.
