The Sarasota Pavilion shopping center added another retailer to its roster of stores at the corner of Stickney Point Road, Gulf Gate Drive and Tamiami Trail.
A new Old Navy store opened in the center Friday, located at 6535 S. Tamiami Trail. It’s the second Old Navy store in the Sarasota area, joining the one located at the University Town Center.
The store contains more than 11,000 square feet of retail space, according to a press release from the clothing brand. It adds to stores including Ross, Marshalls and Bealls also located in the Sarasota Pavilion shopping center.
Illinois-based real estate investment firm InvenTrust Properties purchased the 1.5 million square-foot shopping center for almost $45 million in 2010, according to Sarasota County property records.
