FARGO — The second phase of the Fargo Parks Sports Center is opening its doors to the public at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, according to a release from the Fargo Parks District.
Phase one of the center, at 6100 38th St. S., Fargo, was opened in June 2024.
“This multi-purpose community recreation facility will accommodate nearly any indoor sport, activity, tournament or special event and spans more than 390,000 square feet of indoor space with both phases now complete,” the release said. “Phase II of the space adds six indoor pickleball courts, four additional hardwood courts, two sheets, indoor playground, party rooms, a tournament room, additional meeting rooms and more.”
The rest of the center includes four hardwood courts, one full-size turf field, an indoor walking track, meeting rooms, Sanford Sports Performance and Academy and Fargo Park District staff offices.
For the remainder of the winter, the facility will be open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
