The Seattle Seahawks learned a lot at the NFL Combine. They met with upwards of 30 prospects formally, and watched 329 total players participate in some capacity in Indianapolis. General manager John Schneider and head coach Mike Macdonald are closer to finalizing their 2025 NFL draft plans.
The combine concluded on Sunday. Now’s the perfect time for an updated Seahawks three-round mock draft. Here’s how Seattle could attack the opening three rounds of the 2025 draft.
Tyler Booker is an overwhelming blocker with phone-booth power. He didn’t test particularly well at the NFL Combine, but that’s not an environment best-suited to his skill set and profile. Booker would be plug-and-play at guard, a position of weakness for the Seahawks. Macdonald would appreciate his ability to bring a physical mindset to a lackluster offensive line.
Expect the Seahawks to make a decision regarding Noah Fant’s future this week. Releasing Fant would create a need for another contributor at tight end. Elijah Arroyo has intimidating size at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds with 33 inch arms and 10 inch hands. Arroyo is a dominant route runner who was a mismatch nightmare at the Senior Bowl.
Marcus Mbow has tackle-guard flexibility. He could compete with Abe Lucas at right tackle, or get into the mix at guard with Booker, Christian Haynes, and Anthony Bradford. The Seahawks need to shuffle the deck on the offensive line, and drafting two blockers with top 100 selections should achieve improvement.
