GREENSBORO, Ga. – The South Dakota State women’s golf team finished in 15th place at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational, which wrapped Sunday at the National Golf Course.
The Jackrabbits shot +35 during Sunday’s round, bringing their three-day tally to +83. SDSU finished two shots behind East Tennessee State. Western Kentucky posted a 20-over-par team score to win the team title, six shots ahead of No. 26 Florida.
Piper Stubbs finished in 30th place to pace the Jackrabbits. She was 5-over on Sunday and finished with a +13 three-round scorecard. Molly O’Hara finished in 51st (+18), Shakira-Ann Kuys was 60th (+21) and Tatum Depuydt finished in 79th place (+32).
Reese Jansa played the first round of the event but did not compete Saturday or Sunday.
Florida Atlantic’s Charlotte Perkins posted a 1-over final score to win medalist honors.
