Another Grand Slam has now been and gone, with Jannik Sinner and Madison Keys triumphing at the Australian Open.
Boris Becker thinks Alexander Zverev had a poor mindset ahead of his final with Sinner, which he lost in straight sets.
The world number two has now lost three Grand Slam finals, the latest of which was a 6-3, 7-6(7-4), 6-3 defeat to the world number one at the Australian Open.
Conversely, Keys was unstoppable at the Australian Open, winning her maiden Grand Slam title against Aryna Sabalenka.
One former player meanwhile who was keeping tabs on the event in Melbourne was Sam Querrey, whose best finish at the tournament was in round three.
The American reached that stage on several occasions, one of which was in 2017, when he lost to Andy Murray.
Querrey has now looked back on that match with a tongue-in-cheek analysis on Instagram, saying: “2017 Australian Open. I am playing Andy Murray in the third round.
“Look at that volley from me. I came out early right, 2-2 I’m hitting volleys like that? Kind of early on, I’m thinking to myself hey maybe I’m going to win.

“But you know what, I couldn’t have been more wrong. There I should have hit an approach shot to the open court, I decided to hit it just right back to Andy Murray, who then jogs up and hits the easiest winner of all time.
“There’s probably the second highlight for me that you’re going to get. Anyway here’s set point Murray. I’ve got to go angle here, go angle.
“No, no, no. I’m going go to line, and Murray is just going to hit… I mean, is there anyone in tennis that has a better lob? No, Murray has the best lob of all time.”
Top seed Murray overcame 31st seed Querrey 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 in that meeting, but quickly suffered a fourth round loss to Zverev.
The American meanwhile went on to enjoy his best Grand Slam season, reaching the US Open quarter-finals and the Wimbledon semi-finals.
But the former world number 11, who won 10 ATP Tour titles during his career, still recalls just how lethal Murray was in their 2017 meeting.

Continuing his examination of their match, Querrey noted: “First set 6-4 Murray. Second set, he’s already up 3-1.
“Look at me. I’m going to get aggressive and come to the net. I think I can hit a top spin volley, I don’t even know what that was.
“Set point Murray here, he’s going come to the net. He’s going to make me pass. But good idea, because I can’t hit nice and shots.
“At this point, it’s 6-4, 6-2, and I am done. In my mind, I’ve lost the match. Murray looking up, he’s thinking to himself man, this guy sucks on the other side of the net.
“Start of the third, I change my shirt colour to try to change the momentum. Doesn’t work. I honestly wish Murray would have taken that short ball right there and just hit it right in my face.
“Here’s match point, look at that dud return from me. Gosh I’m a loser. Murray’s like hey, good try, good try, cute tournament. Andy’s number one in the world there, but gosh did he make quick work of me.”
Querrey added to his jokey analysis with the comment “This match could have gone either way,” while Murray piled on the misery by liking the video.
