Although the Golden State Warriors couldn’t hold off the Cleveland Cavaliers in a 113-95 loss, Monday night’s game will mark a memorable moment for one member of the team. In the fourth quarter, Warriors rookie Quinten Post checked into the game against the Cavaliers.
After missing a 3-pointer on his first attempt, Post late pulled down an offensive rebound that led to a putback at the rim for his first official points in the NBA.

Post was drafted in the second round of the 2024 NBA draft out of Boston College.
The Dutch big man has spent a majority of the start of his in the G League with the Santa Cruz Warriors. The 7-footer has played 11 games in the G League, averaging 17.3 points and 8.5 rebounds in 26.6 minutes per game in Santa Cruz.
Post finished with two points on 1-od-2 shooting with a rebound in five minutes against the Cavaliers on Monday.
