Ronald McDonald House kids in Michiana go Christmas shopping
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – Some of the kids at Ronald McDonald House of Michiana got to have some fun Friday.
They went on a trip to the north pole.
It’s an annual event where the house’s breakfast nook turns into an F-A-O Schwarz. The famed toy store is now located at Rockefeller Center in New York City.
Families whose kids are being treated at nearby hospitals get to come over and do a bit of Christmas shopping.
They choose up to 7 items including toys, coloring books, and even blankets all given by members of the community.
