SALEM, Va. (WDBJ) – Though football season is months away, the Roanoke College Maroons have released their schedule for the 2025 season.
In 2024, the Maroons competed as a club team and went 4-0 in their first football season since last having a team in 1942. This will be the program’s first season as a member of the ODAC.
Roanoke College Head Coach Bryan Stinespring made a statement on the upcoming season,
“Maroons nation, it’s it’s here. We’re on this. There is a 2025 football schedule. There’s Saturday college football in Salem, VA, and so if you want to ask me how excited I am, you shouldn’t have to. We are excited that this is ready to go. We understand the challenge in front of us. Players are anxious we’re getting ready to move into spring ball. We’re getting ready for a great offseason that we’re having in our strength and conditioning area. But we’re extremely excited players. We cannot wait. To see you in Salem Stadium on September the 6th. A big part of this team. You were last year and you’ll continue to be a category. Know you’ll be there and we’re looking forward to it.” said Stinespring.
The Maroons will play 10 games this season, opening at home against the University of Lynchburg.
