BELLEVUE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Construction on roads and bridges will begin this week east of Bellevue, impacting travel into Muldoon Canyon and Little Wood Reservoir.
Crews will work on road and bridge construction projects on the Little Wood River Bridge and the Muldoon Creek Bridge on Monday, according to the county. Crews will also replace the Upper High Five Bridge, but the closure and detour will not impact access to the High Five Campgrounds or Bellevue.
Crews will close Muldoon Canyon Road and Little Wood Reservoir Road on Monday, according to Blaine County. Closures will remain in effect until completion in around seven months. Work may extend into the winter and spring.
The county recommended that travelers plan alternative routes to avoid the closures; more information can be found here.
