The overview
Hailing from Dallas, Ritual One is a fitness studio first founded in 2020 that combines a variety of popular workout methods in one location, including a mixture of power sculpt, hot pilates, power vinyasa, inferno flow and inferno HIIT. All fitness classes take place in an infrared-heated studio that ranges from 95 degrees to 102 degrees.
According to the news release, the infrared heating system helps to increase blood flow, raise heart rates, boost metabolism, burn calories, torch fat and stimulate cardiovascular systems to promote detoxification, all while reducing pain and inflammation
“What infrared heat does to the body during a workout simply speaks for itself by enhancing your overall experience and results,” co-founder Nicole Preston said. “It is a great way to detox toxins, increase endurance and reduce stress.”
The Uptown location located between Juiceland and The Rustic will be the studio’s first Houston location.
“My favorite part is that you leave feeling accomplished—it is just as rewarding as it is challenging,” Houston owner Yagmur Griffin said in the news release.
