The Amherst Steele Boys Golf Team clinched their second consecutive Southwestern Conference Championship Tournament at Greyhawk Golf Club in LaGrange on Thursday. The victory secured the SWC Tournament title and ensured the Comets’ outright claim to the Southwestern Conference Championship for the second consecutive year and the third time in school history, adding to their previous titles in 1997 and 2023.

Tommy Urbancic of Avon was medalist at Greyhawk with a 74.

Amherst senior Jacob Sprinkle clinched the Southwestern Conference MVP title, the third Southwestern Conference MVP honor for the Comets in the last four years.
