Indiana is looking to bounce-back in the 2024-25 season after failing to reach the NCAA Tournament in Mike Woodson’s third year as head coach. The Hoosiers compiled a 19-14 overall record and 10-10 record in Big Ten play, finishing tied for 6th place in the Big Ten standings.
IU entered this offseason with just six returning scholarship players and seven open scholarship spots to fill.
Woodson and his staff have done an impressive job to overhaul the roster so far, signing four transfers and holding the No. 1 transfer class in the nation according to 247Sports. Indiana also earned a commitment from 2024 McDonald’s All-American wing Bryson Tucker, the No. 28 national recruit.
Indiana’s returning players include Malik Reneau, Mackenzie Mgbako, Trey Galloway, Anthony Leal, Gabe Cupps and Jakai Newton.
Indiana’s transfer additions include former Arizona center Oumar Ballo (No. 1-ranked nationally), former Stanford guard Kanaan Carlyle (No. 13), former Washington State guard Myles Rice (No. 23) and former Illinois guard Luke Goode (No. 129).
