Storm the Court, whose 45-1 upset win in the 2019 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile created an indelible memory, has been retired to begin a breeding
career, trainer Peter Eurton told Daily Racing Form.

The 7-year-old son of Court Vision most recently finished last
in an allowance race Nov. 17 at Del Mar. He went 26: 0-4-6 after his storybook
victory at Santa Anita came in his fourth race five years ago.

The triumph was made all the more memorable when Eurton was
interviewed on NBC after the race by his daughter Britney Eurton, whose gleeful
celebration of the victory was recorded and replayed on the national telecast.
That video has been viewed more than 1.5 million times since on YouTube.

Storm the Court, who is owned by SAF Racing, David Bernsen,
Susanna Wilson and Dan Hudock, was bred in Kentucky by Stepping Stone Farm. He
is out of Tejano Run mare My Tejana Storm.

After his 2-year-old season that included a debut victory at
Del Mar, Storm the Court finished sixth in the 2020 Kentucky Derby. He also hit
the board in four graded stakes that 3-year-old season, finishing third in the San
Felipe (G2), third in the Ohio Derby (G3), second in the La Jolla Handicap (G3),
second in the Mathis Brothers Mile (G2).

No stud fee has been announced yet for Storm the Court, who will
stand at the Eclipse Thoroughbred Training Center in Santa Ynez, Calif., DRF
reported.
