The Boston Celtics have a long and rich history of superstar-level talent. From Bill Russell and Bob Cousy to Larry Bird and most recently Jayson Tatum. There’s something about the franchise that attracts some of the most talented and driven competitors in the world. During his time in the NBA, Bird was among the most dominant players the league had ever seen.
The 6-foot-9 forward spent his entire career in Boston, winning three championships and playing a total of 897 regular-season games. His battles with Magic Johnson and the Los Angeles Lakers are the stuff of legend, and his presence on the 1992 Dream Team helped create one of the most legendary moments in basketball folk law.
Bird’s career was so impressive that a documentary was made about his time in the NBA and his impact on both the Celtics and the entire city of Boston. Recently, the “Joseph Vincent” YouTube channel posted the full documentary, ensuring it reached a significant number of basketball fans around the world.
