Now you can do a little holiday shopping while making a big impact!
Reggie Redbird revealed his favorite holiday gift items for this year’s Reggie’s Holiday Pick.
For the fourth year of Reggie’s Holiday Pick, Reggie has selected three fun, recreational items for all Redbirds to enjoy—a Reggie Pickleball set, Hammock, and sand towel are all available for $50 each. He’s also offering a Holiday Vacation Bundle for just $125 which includes one of each item.
Feel great about your holiday shopping, as each purchase is a donation to the Red and White Scholarship Fund which provides emergency financial assistance to Redbirds facing hardship. A portion of your gift is tax-deductible through the Illinois State University Foundation.
Because of gifts from alumni and friends, the Red and White Scholarship Fund was able to assist 67 students with nearly $300,000 in emergency financial support over the last academic year (2023-2024)! Reggie wants to help rebuild the Red and White Scholarship Fund for this year’s Redbirds.
Every year, our students face unique challenges such as the death of a parent, job loss, illness, changes in financial status, and basic needs insecurity. Your donations to the Red and White Scholarship enable Redbirds to persist towards their goals and academic excellence.
“I was taking classes and caring for a parent which left me juggling a lot financially … Receiving the Red and White Scholarship was a big relief for me … thank you for inspiring hope for me and other students,” said James Bieber, a junior interdisciplinary creative technologies major.
Help make the holidays brighter for more Redbirds! Order your items before December 13 to guarantee delivery by December 24. Act fast as supplies are limited.
Items will be shipped on November 18, December 2, and December 13, depending on the date of your order. You may also have items shipped with a special gift tag to your loved ones.
