KAPOLEI, Hawaii — The Miami University golf team used a stellar third round to claim victory in this week’s 15-team Kapolei Invitational. The RedHawks were five-under in Thursday’s action to finish the tournament with a score of seven below par (857) and give head coach JD Fletcher his first tournament win at the helm of the program. Miami pulled away to defeat runner-up San Diego (+6) by 13 strokes. Morgan Blythe led the RedHawks with a score of 213, finishing tied for second on the player leaderboard.
