La Liga outfit Real Betis have this week received a considerable offer from Qatar, for a member of the club’s midfield ranks.
That’s according to Relevo, who point towards Rodri as the subject of the bid in question.
The name of attacking midfielder Rodri took its place front and centre in the media chatter surrounding Real Betis over the course of the summer.
This came amid widespread interest in the services of the 24-year-old.
Clubs from all of Spain, Italy, Russia and the United States are understood to have moved forward with proposals for Rodri, all of which, whether by club or player, were ultimately rebuffed.
As alluded to above, however, this week, an offer has landed which could well meet the demands of Betis and the club’s youth product alike.
As per Relevo:
‘As El Desmarque reported and Relevo was able to confirm, Betis has received a formal offer from a club in Qatar that would be willing to pay a figure just under 8 million euros to secure the services of the midfielder from Talayuela.’
Not only that, but it is hinted that both parties are inclined to accept the proposal, amid the conclusion:
‘Everything points to Rodri no longer being a Betis player.’
