No. 2 Ravenwood completed a two-point conversion in overtime to win 32-31 over top-ranked Oakland on Friday in Murfreesboro
Oakland’s Craig Tutt scored on a 4-yard touchdown run as the Patriots took the ball first in overtime for a 31-24 lead, but Ravenwood scored on the first possession of its drive on a Ben Hubbard 10-yard touchdown catch all alone in the end zone. Ravenwood QB Femi Babalola then found a diving Patrick Sullivan in the end zone on the two-point conversion for the game-winner.
The Raptors (9-0) beat the Patriots for the first time in five tries, while the Patriots suffer their first loss of the season.

Oakland sprinted out to a 14-0 lead in the game’s first five minutes after a Kyler Creasy 1-yard touchdown run on a sneak after a Daune Morris long catch-and-run and a 74-yard touchdown catch by Chase Bandy following a Ravenwood punt.
Ravenwood scored the next 14 points, with the Raptors offense jumpstarted by Donovan Starr’s 65-yard touchdown catch and a Jaylen Pollard touchdown run. The Patriots regained the lead at 17-14 before the half on a field goal, and the two teams traded touchdowns in the third quarter.
After Ravenwood’s game-tying field goal with 2:22 left, Creasy drove the Oakland offense into Raptors territory but couldn’t get close enough for a field goal attempt. The game went to overtime, where Ravenwood and coach Will Hester made the call to go for the win.
