RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KALB) – Procter & Gamble is expanding its fabric care product manufacturing facility in Rapides Parish.
The $96.7 million investment will be used to install new advanced production lines and increase production capacity, according to a news release from P&G.
The project is expected to create 50 potential new jobs in Rapides Parish in addition to the 572 current positions at the plant.
P&G says they are proud to invest in the Alexandria community through this expansion.
Construction is expected to take place over the next two years.
