Qatar Tourism has initiated a new workshop aimed at fostering closer ties with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE), underscoring its commitment to enhancing the hospitality sector through strategic partnerships with both governmental and private entities.
Led by Mrs. Eman Ali Al Nuaimi, Director of Educational Services Centers in the Private Education Sector at MoEHE, the workshop provided a platform for fruitful discussions between Qatar Tourism and representatives from various hotels across Qatar. The focal point of the workshop was a comprehensive presentation outlining the stringent requirements that educational service centers must meet to reserve hotel halls for their events.
A key highlight of the workshop emphasized the necessity for educational institutions to obtain prior approval from MoEHE and possess a valid educational license when submitting applications for event and conference reservations at hotels. This criterion ensures the quality and regulatory compliance of the services provided by educational service centers.
This collaborative effort marks a significant step forward in Qatar Tourism’s mission to elevate the standards of the hospitality sector, ensuring seamless coordination between educational stakeholders and hospitality providers in delivering exceptional event experiences across Qatar.
Mr. Mohamed Al Ansari, Director of the Tourism Licensing Department at Qatar Tourism, expressed his satisfaction on this occasion, stating, “We are pleased to collaborate with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to conduct this workshop, the goal is to clarify the procedures and protocols for reserving hotel halls by educational service centers.” He further emphasized, “Our objective is to safeguard the interests of accredited companies in the tourism sector, improve service excellence, enhance the overall reputation of the hospitality industry, and uphold high-quality standards.”
Mr. Al Ansari, representing Qatar Tourism, reiterated the organization’s steadfast commitment to fostering ongoing collaboration with all stakeholders across Qatar. This commitment aims to bolster the efficiency and transparency of tourism-related services throughout the country.
Mrs. Eman Ali Al-Nuaimi, Director of Educational Services Centers Management, highlighted that ensuring the quality of services provided by training centers is among the top priorities. This effort is integral to creating an appealing and dynamic environment that aligns with Qatar’s National Vision 2030. Collaboration with Qatar Tourism and hotel representatives plays a crucial role in achieving these goals, fostering a secure and conducive learning environment while maintaining high standards of educational content and encouraging investor participation.
