World Population Day serves as a vital platform to raise awareness about global population challenges and advocate for sustainable solutions. This year’s event brought together representatives from governmental bodies, international organisations, non-governmental organisations, and academia to discuss strategies and initiatives aimed at advancing population-related agendas.
Abdullatif al-Jasmi, director of Cultural Heritage Protection at QM, emphasised the significance of hosting World Population Day, saying: “Qatar Museums is honoured to host World Population Day this year, highlighting our commitment to safeguarding our cultural heritage and promoting its understanding and appreciation.
