DOHA- Flag carrier Qatar Airways (QR) deploys the first Starlink-enabled Boeing 777 on its Doha (DOH)-London (LHR) route, marking a global aviation milestone on October 22, 2024.

The airline, recently named World’s Best Airline by Skytrax, becomes the first MENA region carrier to offer Starlink’s high-speed internet service.

The carrier accelerates its Starlink implementation, expanding from three to twelve Boeing 777-300 aircraft by December 2024.

Qatar Airways plans to complete the Boeing 777 fleet integration in 2025, followed by Airbus A350 installations in the summer of 2025, advancing the original schedule by one year.
