After weeks of rumors and leaks via, of all places, EA Sports NCAA Football ‘25, the new Purdue look for Friday night’s game was confirmed. This will be the night game against Oregon with the game kicking off at 8:00 PM. The game is officially a blackout and Purdue decided that the time was right to let us know what they would be rocking come game time.

Purdue gives you a good look here at the new helmet with the script Purdue on one side and the player’s number on the other. I think this looks pretty good. You’ll of course notice the black face mask as well which pops nicely against the largely black uniform.

I really think the folks at Purdue and Nike who worked on this uniform did a pretty good job. I wasn’t sold on them in the initial videos and images, but after seeing them during games and now in these new images with the new helmet I’m on board. Plus, it wouldn’t be Purdue creative if they didn’t officially launch them via a snappy video, so here it is.
