RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Katie Grace Foundation is hosting a prom closet called Dance With Grace.
Organizers have gathered hundreds of prom attire for girls and boys. The teens will be able to pick out their own outfit, complete with shoes and accessories, to borrow for the big event. The goal is to help families cut the cost of having to rent a tux or to buy a dress.
Amy McKillip, committee director and board member, shared the details of this event saying this shopping event follows the mission of the Katie Grace Foundation.
Both ladies and gentlemen will be able to find items for their prom as well as a goodie bag with extra beauty supplies.
It takes place Saturday, Jan. 11 at Soaring High Ministries (5301 Longley Lane Suite A17, Reno). Students will also get to learn how to make a bouquet and do their hair.
The Junior Assembly of Reno is assisting in this event.
