Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra men’s basketball team will take part in the prestigious Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship this season, it was announced this afternoon.
The six-team tournament will take place at the Baha Mar Resort from November 29 to December 1. The games will be played at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center.
Day one of the tournament will see the Pride in the nightcap as they take on Rice at 7 p.m.
On the second day, Hofstra will face Tarleton State at 4:30 p.m.
The final day of the three-day tournament will pit the Pride against Arkansas State, also at 4:30 p.m.
Each game will be the first-ever meeting for Hofstra against the trio of opponents.
All games will air on FloHoops.
Action in Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship starts Friday, Nov. 29 with the following matchups:
Iona vs. Tarleton State – 2 p.m. ET
Arkansas State vs. Indiana State – 4:30 p.m.
Hofstra vs. Rice – 7 p.m.
Saturday’s schedule features:
Indiana State vs. Iona – 2 p.m.
Tarleton State vs. Hofstra – 4:30 p.m.
Rice vs. Arkansas State – 7 p.m.
The event concludes Sunday with the following lineup:
Iona vs. Rice – 2 p.m.
Hofstra vs. Arkansas State – 4:30 p.m.
Indiana State vs. Tarleton State – 7 p.m.
