FORT WORTH – A red-hot TCU women’s golf team continues its season in the footprint of a city regarded for rockets and aerospace launch. 
 
The Horned Frogs head to Space City to compete in The Chevron Collegiate from Monday-Tuesday at the Golf Club of Houston.
 
Teams will play 36 holes of golf on Monday before finishing with a final round on Tuesday.
 
TCU is rolling out a lineup of Meagan Winans, Kirstin Angosta, Sofia Barroso Sá, Gracie McGovern and Camille Min-Gaultier. Sofie Dimitrova will play as an individual.
 
The Horned Frogs ascended to 16^th in the Scoreboard team rankings following their solo second at the Collegiate Invitational at Guadalajara Country Club on Feb. 1. TCU has won two tournaments and rattled off five straight top-five team finishes ahead of its trip south.  
 
Angosta tied for sixth at nine-under 207 in just her second collegiate start at the event in 2024. Now a sophomore, Angosta has since notched four top-20s – all in 2024-25 – and holds a career-high Scoreboard ranking of No. 55 leading into Monday’s start.
 
TCU placed 13^th out of 16 teams in 2024, shooting a three-under 285 in the final round.
 
The individual champion of the Chevron Collegiate will qualify for The Chevron Championship Pro-Am and receive an invitation to its pairings party.
 
The Course – Golf Club of Houston – Par 72 / 6,171 yards
The Member Course at Golf Club of Houston offers a constantly evolving and unpredictable golf experience, true to the spirit of the game. With exceptional course conditions, stunning views, and a challenging layout, the course is a true test for golfers of all skill levels. 
 
Measuring 7,508 yards at par 72, the course features native wetland flora and fauna, strategic bunkering, and well-manicured fairways and greens.
 
The club hosted the Houston Open, a legacy PGA Tour event, from 2003-2019 and played host to LIV Golf Houston 2024 in June.

Tournament Schedule
Both days commence with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The tournament, hosted by Big 12 counterpart Houston, uses a five-count-four scoring format.

Head Coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin

• TCU has won 54 all-time team championships, 20 of which have come under the leadership of Angie Ravaioli-Larkin.
• Ravaioli-Larkin is in her 31^st season as the head coach of TCU women’s golf. A lifelong Texan, she assumed the program helm in the fall of 1994 and is the longest-tenured head coach at TCU and across all Big 12 women’s sport programs. Ravaioli-Larkin has become a fixture within the TCU community and the history of its athletics department. She has worked with six athletic directors and coached in five conferences.
• Ravaioli-Larkin-led teams have qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 27 of 30 seasons.
• TCU has reached the NCAA Championships nine times under Ravaioli-Larkin, including consecutive appearances in 2022 and 2023.
• TCU is enjoying a streak of 22 consecutive seasons with NCAA postseason representation.
• TCU has claimed five conference championships spanning three different leagues under Ravaioli-Larkin.
• Ravaioli-Larkin has mentored 37 all-conference players, nine All-Americans and 42 All-American Scholars in her time as head coach.

Team Notes

• TCU, along with No. 8 Arizona State, is one of only two teams in the Big 12 with five top-200 players.
• TCU won two tournaments in the same season for the first time since 2018-19 and third time in the Ravaioli-Larkin era with its pair of titles at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational and Jim West Challenge.
• The Horned Frogs have recorded their low round score in the final round in 12 of their last 16 events dating back to the 2023-24 campaign. TCU has finished even or under par in 10 of its last 15 final rounds
• The Horned Frogs have notched a combined 12 top-10’s and 22 top-20’s over six tournaments this season.
• The Horned Frogs finished a season-best 22-under (842) to win the Jim West Challenge by one stroke over No. 26 Houston. TCU shot a 281 (-7) in rounds one and two and was tied for first entering the final 18 holes.
• TCU captured its first tournament title in six years with its triumph at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational on Sept. 11 at the PGA Tour Keene Trace Golf Club. The Horned Frogs finished seven-over (871) and won by a 12-stroke margin. TCU played even-par golf over its final 36 holes.
• Always a point of emphasis, TCU’s birdie game has blossomed in 2024-25. The Frogs’ seven-player roster has tallied a combined 297 birdies, good for an average of 49.6 per tournament. The Frogs led the Collegiate Invitational at GCC field with 51 on their way to shooting a four-under 860. TCU birdied 53 holes in its Jim West Challenge championship and bagged a tournament-leading 39 birdies on their way to the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational team title. At the Carmel Cup, TCU carded 29 of its 42 birdies over the final two rounds.
