PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) – Planet Fitness is officially coming to Pikeville.

Glow brands, a Planet Fitness franchisee based in Louisville, Ky., announced today that its 16,000 square foot Judgement Free Zone at Weddington Plaza in Pikeville is now open.

Located at 4077 N Mayo Trail, the space formerly was home to Gordman’s. It is now the 33-location owned and operated by Glow Brands in Kentucky.

Deputy CEO Mark Nelson expresses how thrilled he is at the new location.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing the leader in high-value, low-cost fitness to Pikeville,” Nelson said. “We can now proudly say we own and operate clubs from Paducah to Pikeville, reaching the goal of bringing affordable and first-class fitness to every corner of the state.”

The Pikeville location employs 8-10 full-time workers and 16-20 part-time team members. The club is open and staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
