Police make arrest in deadly shooting in Carolina Forest Planet Fitness parking lot
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – A man accused of shooting and killing another man in a gym parking lot in Carolina Forest is behind bars.
Records show Branden Huertas was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Thursday and charged with murder.

Jail records show that an extradition company brought him in. We’re working to learn more about his arrest.
The murder charge stems from a deadly shooting in June 2023 in the parking lot of the Planet Fitness on Glen Forest Road.
Police said they found 20-year-old David Roldan-Dimas shot twice in his Chevrolet Camaro.
Huertas is being held at JRLDC under no bond.
