Audacy is officially no longer going bankrupt, closing its Chapter 11 bankruptcy process in court, reports iHeart’s Inside Radio. CEO David Field welcomed “the dawn of a new era”, and has stepped down; Kelli Turner is interim CEO while Audacy looks to fill the role permamently. RadioINK reports that the new head of the FCC may wish to overrule Audacy’s deal. The company owns a number of podcast companies including Pineapple Street Studios.
