In Week 16, Simms chopped my lead in half.

I’m now up by only two games, with two weeks to go. I’m 164-76 and he’s 162-78, after I went 9-7 and he went 11-5.

Against the spread, it’s been over for a while. I’m now 135-100-5 and he’s 119-116-5, even though I was a pathetic 5-10-1 last weekend.

We both picked the Chiefs to win and the Steelers to cover on Wednesday. (Right and wrong.) We also picked the Ravens to win and to cover. (Right, and right.)

Seahawks (-4) at Bears

Seattle is still alive. The Bears aren’t — and they played that way on Sunday against the Lions.

Florio: Seahawks, 23-14.

Chargers (-4.5) at Patriots

This will be good preparation for the Chargers coming playoff run, when they have to leave L.A. and play outdoors, in Buffalo, Kansas City, or Pittsburgh/Baltimore.

Broncos at Bengals (-3.5)

The Bengals are playing like a team no other playoff team should want to see in the playoffs.

Yes, the Cardinals beat the Rams in their first meeting, 41-10. But much has changed since the last time they met.

Buffalo still has work to do to nail down the No. 2 seed.

Titans at Jaguars (-1)

It’s this week’s “if you bet on this game, you really do have a problem” game.

Raiders (-1.5) at Saints

It’s the home finale for the Saints, who should want to rectify their Monday night massacre.

Colts (-7.5) at Giants

This one is a long way from The Greatest Game Ever Played.

Cowboys at Eagles (-8.5)

Thanks to uncertainty at the quarterback position for the Eagles, I’m not confident in a cover for the home team.

Panthers at Buccaneers (-7.5)

The Bucs need to get back on track, fast.

Dolphins (-6.5) at Browns

This won’t change any narratives for the Dolphins, mainly because the Browns seem to be in tank mode.

A 13-2 team playing as a home underdog?
