LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
The Pet of the Week sometimes features a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the column spotlights an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Cricket!
This 1-year-old female is friendly and energetic, and she loves to go on walks and for car rides, according to Pitties.Love.Peace rep Mika Stiefel.
“Outdoor adventures are her favorite,” Mika says.
Cricket is friendly with other dogs, but she’s still learning appropriate social skills, so calm and tolerant furry friends are best, she adds. She would also be content to be your one and only fur mate. Oh, and she will engage with cats and can be rough, dog-savvy cats are best if you’re looking to add her to a family with felines.
Cricket is crate-trained and housebroken, Mika says. Her ideal household will have no children under 12 years old “as she is still learning her strength and how to keep calm.” She is looking for a patient family who will be committed to ongoing training and socialization to polish her manners and keep her on track to being her very best.
