Penn State football continues to work on its 2025 roster as its 2024 season continues. As of Dec. 24 at 9 a.m. ET, the Lions have two portal pickups, three portal losses, and three stay-or-go decisions in the books. We have a full list of the latest below as the team preps to face Boise State in a College Football Playoff quarterfinal round matchup on Dec. 31.
The current deadline for undergraduates to have their name in the portal is Dec. 28. However, anyone on a team still in the College Football Playoff will have a five-day period after its program’s season concludes, whenever that may be, to enter.
Grad students can go into the portal at any time. And, whenever the deadline might be, it’s a good reminder to note that a player does not need to pick his new school by then, but rather just declare his intentions to do so.
Penn State landed its first portal triumph when former USC receiver Kyron Hudson picked earlier this month. He has since officially signed, BWI publisher Sean Fitz reports. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound California native recorded 38 receptions for 482 yards and three touchdowns. He started his college career in 2021 and has one year of eligibility remaining.
The Lions’ second portal win took place on Dec. 20. That’s when former Texas A&M defensive end Enai White announced that he would be returning home to the Keystone State to play for the Lions. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining. White was hurt for much of the 2023 season and almost all of the 2024 season.
Here’s the list of players who have visited and where things stand as of Dec. 24:
– Texas A&M defensive end Enai White: Picked Penn State on Dec. 20.
– USC wide receiver Kyron Hudson: Picked Penn State on Dec. 16. Signed on Dec. 19.

– Louisiana Tech defensive tackle David Blay: Picked Miami on Dec. 20.
– Oklahoma State linebacker Kendal Daniels: Still undecided.
—LSU defensive tackle Jay’viar Suggs: Still undecided
—Troy wide receiver Devonte Ross: Still undecided.
Here is that list:
TE Jerry Cross: Entered the portal Dec. 9. Committed to Memphis on Dec. 21.
DT T.A. Cunningham: Entered the portal Dec. 9. Reports offers from USF, California, and Oklahoma State. Has not yet made a decision.
QB Beau Pribula: Entered the portal on Dec. 16. Committed to the Missouri Tigers on Dec. 22. According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Pribula signed a $1.5 million NIL agreement. He will likely be the SEC school’s starter in 2025.
