I think New England would run to the podium if the board fell this way. Hunter is an electrifying talent who would be a good receiver, but could be an incredible cornerback with his instincts and ball skills. A duo of Hunter and Christian Gonzalez would be one of the NFL’s best young duos.
Hunter, who just won the Heisman Trophy as the top performer in college football, would be an immediate impact player for the Patriots on both offense and especially defense. Adding him to a cornerback room already featuring Christian Gonzalez as well as similarly-versatile Marcus Jones would give the team an exciting young core to build around in the secondary.
