Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag gave his reaction to the defeat at Chelsea.
“We started poorly, giving the ball away, defending poorly, but you saw in that moment we dominated the game,” he told TNT Sports.
“We deserved to win this game, but you cannot give it away like we did.
“It’s a team performance and you can point to one of your players, as a team in such moments when it gets chaotic, you have to deal with it, and we didn’t.
“Out of possession, we made bad decisions.
“It was slightly lucky – the penalty was questionable, it was very soft.
“It’s definitely a setback, but we have to deal with this and catch up. We are resilient and we can play outstanding football at times, but it is about results and we must respond.”
