Hello and welcome to our coverage of Day 4 of the 1st Test between Pakistan and England taking place at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

England are just trailing by 64 runs before the start of the day’s play and a lot of it has to be credited to the way the visitors batted. Joe Root continues his brilliant run of form with the bat while Harry Brook continues his stellar record playing in Pakistan. Both men have gone past their hundred and will look to go even further to establish a solid lead as soon as possible.

For Pakistan, it will be the bowlers who would have to dig deep and find some way to get the wickets to keep the game moving away from a likely draw. But the conditions don’t really allow them to do so. Nonetheless, it will be up to the unit lead by Shaheen Afridi to find a way to get back into the game.
