HARLINGEN, TEXAS — Origo Works, a leading real estate development firm in South Texas, announced the groundbreaking of its latest retail shopping center in Harlingen. The event, hosted in partnership with the Greater Harlingen Chamber of Commerce, will occur on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Traxler Way & US-83 Frontage.
Traxler’s prime location will attract diverse tenants and encourage more businesses to establish and grow in Harlingen.
“We are excited to bring another retail development to Harlingen,” said Ramiro Gonzalez, Director of Business Development.
“This project is one of many new developments our team is leading across Texas, including locations in Brownsville, Boerne, Buda, and Bulverde. We are committed to creating spaces where businesses thrive and communities grow.”
The shopping center will be located along US-83 and offer up to 12,191 square feet of gross leasable area, with available spaces ranging from 1,280 to 1,538 square feet. Its high visibility, convenient access to the expressway, and proximity to major retailers and dining establishments make it an attractive opportunity for businesses seeking prime retail space.
The groundbreaking event will include remarks from Origo Works leadership, local officials, and Harlingen Chamber of Commerce representatives. It will also include a ceremonial shovel-turning to mark the official start of construction. Community members, business owners, and prospective tenants are encouraged to attend and explore opportunities within this exciting new development.
