“RF fracture.” Seven Anns was two years old and coming off her first race.

“Pastern fracture.” Great Decision was two years old, and this was her very first race.
Hf Kiss This, Sep 25, Horseshoe R
“Collapsed after wire – pulmonary hemorrhage – sudden death.” Hf was two years old.
Mama’s the Cause, Oct 9, Horseshoe R
“[Multiple] fractures.” Mama’s was two years old.
Extra Halo, Oct 28, Horseshoe S
“Multifocal pneumonia [with] abscessation and fibrosis.” Extra was three years old and had last been raced Sep 12.
Color of Victory, Nov 25, Horseshoe T
“Fetlock fracture.” Color was three years old. Prior to dying, she had been raced a total of six times (starting in June). She was a “DNF” in her first race; in those last five, she finished last four times and second-to-last once – a combined 89+ lengths back.
