Thursday marks the first day of competition of golf at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Over the next four days, the world’s best golfers will square off at Le Golf National in Guyancourt, France in pursuit of a gold medal for their respective country. Reigning gold medalist from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Xander Schauffele headlines Team USA with World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler.
Thursday and Friday’s rounds of golf at the Paris Games will surely be a treat for golf fans who will get to see Scheffler play alongside Rory McIlroy and Ludvig Aberg in one group pairing while Schauffele, Viktor Hovland and Jon Rahm will play 36 holes of golf together.

Team USA’s roster for the Paris Olympics will be made up of Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark.
Schauffele won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics for the United States, where he beat Slovakia’s Rory Sabbatini by one stroke at 18 under par. The 2024 Paris Olympics mark the Olympic debuts for Scheffler and Clark.
