OKEMOS, Mich. (WILX) – Okemos High School senior golfer Alena Li was named “Miss Golf” as the best female high school golfer in the state of Michigan Wednesday. Li had 4 superb seasons on varsity for the Wolves and she capped it off with an individual state championship in division 2 at the state finals in mid-October.
Li won the girls state junior amateur championship in June, and she followed that up with her best season as a senior at Okemos, during which she had two rounds of 64.
She is undecided on her college choice. She is a 4.0 student.
