COLUMBUS — Welcome back to the Sweet 16 Louisville.
The Leopards look to march on in the postseason tonight when they face Columbus St. Francis DeSales in an OHSAA Division III boys basketball regional semifinal at Taft Coliseum. Tip-off is 6 p.m.
This is Louisville’s first regional appearance since 2022 and third overall. Louisville has never advanced to the final four.

The Leopards (20-5) have easily beaten their three postseason opponents. They defeated Akron North 86-35 in a sectional final and Cuyahoga Falls 83-51 and Northwest 62-36 in the district round.
Louisville scored the game’s first 20 points in the district final against Northwest. Beau Siegfried hit three 3s and finished with a game-high 21 points to lead the Leopards. Tate Aljancic scored 14 of his 16 points over the final three quarters. Brayden Gross finished with 13 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
St. Francis DeSales (18-7) beat Whitehall-Yearling 83-51 in a sectional final, Granville 71-60 in a district semifinal and Columbus Bishop Watterson 51-36 in a district final.
The Louisville-St. Francis DeSales winner will play the winner of tonight’s second game between Columbus Bishop Hartley and Steubenville. The regional championship game is set for Saturday at 1 p.m. at Taft Coliseum.
